I grade mostly visually, but I put each lp on my Denon dp75 to spot check it before issuing the final grade. I tend to listen to the opening, pick a couple of spots in the middle....listen between tracks for background noise etc. And if there are any potential trouble spots I see I check those as well. But I don't listen to them fully unless it is stated that it came from my personal collection...
