今までは過去を捨てて未来をつかんできた。だから中学や高校の友達はほとんどいない。でも今回は過去を捨てるのではなく置いてくるのだから、生まれ育った土地を離れる事は私にとって苦ではない。私がここにいつ帰ってきても私を迎えてくれる友達がいる。もちろん向うに友達はいない。でも私にはそれもメリット。きっとそこが私の本当の場所だと確信している。

So far I have discarded the past in order to grasp the future. So I hardly had friends from junior high and high school. But this time I'm not going to throw away the past, but just leave it behind. Leaving the place I grew up in is not painful to me. When I return to this place, my friends will welcome me. Of course, I have no friends over there. But that's a good thing for me. I believe that's the real place.

I look to the future and never look back. That is why I do not have many friends from middle and high school. This time I am leaving my past but not abandoning it. I will not be distressed to leave the place where I was born and bled. I have welcoming friends here whenever I am back here. Indeed I do not have friend there. But that for me is a merit.
