ミズキ：「王子の執務室、だっけ。王子は今、部屋にいるのか？」
ナツメ：「ううん。午前は会議だよ。じゃあ今のうちに済ませちゃおっか」
ということで、朝食を食べ終えてすぐ、王子の執務室へ向かった。
ミズキ：「………」
執務室ということは、仕事をするための部屋なのだろう。
なのに部屋全体はミズキたち下男の部屋の何倍も広く、机と椅子以外にも豪奢なソファが置かれている。
壁の殆どは本棚で埋め尽くされており、分厚い本が何冊も詰まっていた。

後ろから冷たい声がして、ミズキとナツメは振り向く。
会議に行っているはずの王子が、何故かそこにいた。
ナツメ：「今は会議中じゃ………」
王子：「議長が急病で中止になった」
ナツメ：「ああ、長老様が………なら仕方ありませんね。じゃあ午後の会議の間に掃除しますので………」
王子：「構わん。下男が部屋を掃除する程度で気が散ることはない」

“I don`t mind. I am not distracted only from manservants` cleaning the room”, the prince said.
