The closeness of timezones, regional factors, users, customers, partners etc., all may become factors in deciding the remuneration. For example, because a certain applicant lives in an area closer than a different applicant, or in that timezone somebody is important, at the same level, the remuneration of an applicant may be set higher than other applicants.

For example, you might set one applicant's compensation higher than another's for the same level just because one applicant lives in an area with a lower location factor than another, or because you need someone in that time zone.
