Based on the fact that the receiver had not received it and that there was no response, the conclusion is not missing but unknown. Then, there was an instruction for damage compensation. However, based on the current status of US, it still will arive in the future because it is sea freight.
Once the receiver gets the package, there could be an instruction that toku should make a refund after damage compensation. So, if you are going to claim for damage compensation, please make sure that the receiver would not receive the package. Now, it took some long time, but it is possible to claim for damage compensation.
Based on the answer the receiver hadn't got it or no answer, the result was "No further trace", not missing. So, they ordered to compensate for damages. However, since it is sent by ship, there is possibility that you get it in the future under the current situation of US.
If you receive it, you may be ordered to pay back to toku after the compensation.
So, I would like the receiver not to receive the package if they want to be paid it.
Anyhow, the compensation is possible although it took a lot of time.
Based on his/her reply as not receiving or no-reply, it concluded that it is not lost but no further trace and instructed compensation for damages.
However, considering the current situation of the U.S., it is likely to reach hereafter because it is carried by sea.
If the baggage is received, there is a possibility that you will receive instruction that after compensation for damages, return money from toku, so that in case that you inquire about compensation for damages, please make sure that the receiver will not receive it.
Anyway, it took so much time but you can inquire a compensation for damages.
