"Is collective intelligence effective in summarizing Manga even when it is written in English"
According to a past experiment by researchers, when a story manga with about 100 cutscenes was given to university students and let them summarize it into 5% to 20% of cutscenes and then pick out n% of those cutscenes in the order of selected frequency, it became nice summary regardless of what number n is. In other words, collective intelligence worked extremely well in summarizing manga. But how reliable collective intelligence is? Will collective intelligence continue to be effective even if the same manga translated into English is asked to be read? I will report the results of the experiment having 60 university students participated in the study.

Do wisdom of crowds work for the comprehension for a cartoon that written in English ?
In a past study that provided Japanese university student a cartoon consisting of nearly 100 strips, and let each student summerize them to fewer numbers of strips like 5 to 20% of the original. then reseachers analysed the quality of their summaries. they found that wisdom of crowds were well functioned in the study.
Firstly, reseachers ranked each strips according to the number students selected for summury, and secondly they selected strips which were higher in the ranking, such as top 5% or 10% and so on, and finally they analysed the quality of their works.
However, a question remains, if the caroon is translated into English. can researchers get the same results?
We will report the outcome of our study conducted on 60 university students.
