A wooden tai (sea bream) used by Japanese wagashi (traditional sweets) craftsmen. Although there are stains and scratches as a result of use and with the passage of time, it is a beautiful antique item that can still be used.
This item is the wood pattern of "porgy" which a Japanese confectionery artisan had used. There is some scratches and dirt with use and age, but it is still a beautiful antique item which is still available for actual use.
