Is sports meeting Japan's unique custom?
Team is classified in red or white, or red, blue yellow and compete among in various sports. Track and field such as relay and obstacle course, and tug of war or beanbag toss. Recently gymnastic formation is issue in Japan. Some school stopped doing that due to safety issue.
It wasn't a big issue, I think this is new trend.
I don't mind at all though lol.
I believe it has been done for over 50 years.
I don't think private facility that train kids who can be Olympian exist generally.

The undokai(Sports Day) is a characteristic custom in Japan?
They compete in a variety of matches with teams divided in Red-Blue or Red-Blue-Yellow uniforms.
There are also team games from relay and track for race with obstacles till Rope fight and ball toss games.
Recently, one thing that became a problem in Japan is the coordinated group gymnastics isn it?, there are schools that stopped doing it because it was dangerous.
In the past it wasn't a problem but this too is consequence of the era right?.
I think it's fine either way though LOL
At least 50 years before they were doing but as far as I know the facilities that train kids aiming at the Olympics generally do not exist.
