How to change a wheel bearing with a 60 € press

Use of a cheap 6 ton hydraulic press
Here is the 6 ton press that will be used
If you don't have an impact wrench, unscrew the nut with a long socket wrench when the wheel is on the ground
Place the hub on the press
Place a socket of diameter slightly lower than the bearing
Actuate the lever
Retrieve the socket
If you are lucky, the bearing will not remain on the hub
If you are unlucky, part of the bearing will remain on the hub
The bearing is removed
Adjust the height of the press

Il cuscinetto è rimosso
Correggi l'altezza della pressa
Una pressione di 6 tonnellate non è sufficiente a premere il cuscinetto fuori dal mozzo
Passaggi: rimozione del mozzo, estrazione del cuscinetto, montaggio del nuovo cuscinetto, reinserimento del mozzo.
Utilizzo di una pressa idraulica da 6 tonnellate.
Questa è la pressa da 6 tonnellate che verrà utilizzata.
Se non avete a disposizione uno svitatore elettrico, utilizzate una lunga chiave a bussola per svitare il dado dopo aver poggiato la ruota a terra.
Posizionate il mozzo sulla pressa.
Poggiatevi una bussola di diametro leggermente inferiore a quello del cuscinetto
Azionate la leva.
Recuperate la bussola.
Se siete fortunati, il cuscinetto non resterà sul mozzo
Se siete sfortunati, parte del cuscinetto resterà sul mozzo
Il cuscinetto viene rimosso.
Calibrate l'altezza della pressa.
Una pressione di 6 tonnellate non è sufficiente a far uscire il cuscinetto dal mozzo.
