• Our Thailand office is fundamentally responsible for exchanging information regarding rice sales with our parent company. Part of our contract requires us to conduct price negotiations with the parent company on a quarterly basis. However, due to the to time difference between Japan and Thailand, we cannot find a suitable time to confirm the intention of the headquarters. As such, the Thailand office and our parent company are consulting directly to mutually agree upon a price.

・For the rice deal, the Thai office is basically in charge of information exchange operation with the parent company. In regard to a part of the contract where requires a price negotiation with the parent company every quarter, there is no time to confirm the parent company’s intentions because of the international time differences. For that reason, the fact is that the Thai office and the parent company directly negotiate prices to come to an agreement.
