対向車線からきたトラックが居眠り運転により、N君の車に追突してきたそうです。
その知らせを受けた時は全く信じられず、冗談だと思った程です。火葬の時には涙が止まらず、様々なことが思い出されました。お葬式には追突してきたトラックの会社の人も参列しました。さすがに事故を起こした人は来ませんでしたが、僕らはお葬式の最中でさえ、殴りかかろうかというほど怒りました。たった20年しか生きることが出来ず、人生これからというときに殺されてしまう悲しみは今でも忘れません。

I heard that a truck driven by a sleeping driver ran into N's car from the opposite lane.
When I heard the news, It was so unbelievable that I thought it was kidding. I could not stop my tear running at the cremation and many things were drifted in my mind. Staffs of the company which employs the driver attended the funeral. Though the man who drove did not appear as I thought, I got so angry that I almost hit them even during the funeral. I still remember the sadness that he was killed at most hopeful era of his life and he could not live more than only 20 years.

When I heard the notice, I could not believe it and thought that it was some kind of joke. During the cremation, I could not stop crying and recalled a lot of memories we shared together. People from the truck's company also attended the funeral. Although the person who actually caused the accident did not attend, we were extremely enraged and wanted to beat them up during the funeral. He only lived 20 years, and life was just about to become interesting. I will never forget the sorrow of a life ending so early on.
