ゴールデンウィークの5月3日から5日の三日間、世界遺産・国宝の姫路城本丸に、幅90メートルの超大型３Ｄプロジェクションマッピング「HAKUA」が投影される。
姫路城は平成の大修理と呼ばれる6年間の修復工事を終え、3月27日にグランドオープンした。今回はそれを記念し「第66回祝賀・姫路お城まつり」の目玉事業として企画されたもの。
大天守だけでなく、西の小天守、チの櫓など、城郭の一部や石垣もスクリーンに見立てて、白鷺城とも称された美しい姿に、姫路城の歴史と輝ける未来を描きだす。
