ヒータコアでは、エンジン冷却水の一部が流れており、空調風を加熱できる。
暖機後、エンジン冷却水は約80℃になり、これを熱源として空調風を加熱する。
風量によりますがヒータコア通過後の空調風は50～60℃になる。
エアミックスドア位置（開度といいます）により、ヒータコアへの配風比率を変更できる。
この開度設定により、ヒータコアを通過する空調風と、ヒータコアを通過しない空調風の比率を設定できる。
こうして設定した温度の空調風がつくられることになる。

In the heater core a part of engine cooling water is flowing which could heat the conditioning air.
After warming up engine coolant becomes around 80 Centigrade which originated heating conditioning air.
The conditioning air becomes from 50 to 60 Centigrade depending on the air flow after passing through the heater core.
As using the air mix door situation so called Divergency the ratio of delivery of air to the heater core can be changed.
By this setting up Divergency the ratio of conditioning air passing through the heater core and not passing through it, can be setting up.
Thus the conditioning air setting up temperature is to be created.
