私は外国人が多く集まる〜という街で働いているので、英語が話せれば街にいる様々な人とコミュニケーションできるようになると考えたからです。あと映画が日本語字幕なしで観れるようになったら最高ですね。
IT業界に興味を持った最初のきっかけは、〜の知識さえあれば、全世界の人がみれるWebサイトを作れると知ったからです。実際試しに作ってみたのですが、楽しかったですね。
IT業界で働き始めて5年くらい経ちますが、自分に合った職業だなと思っています。
技術の進歩がはやくて勉強はとても大変ですけど。

I work in a town called 〜 where foreigners gather, I thought that speaking English will allow me to communicate with varieties of people in town. Also, it would be super if I could go to see a movie without following the Japanese subtitle.
I became interested in IT industry because I was convinced that with the knowledge of 〜, one can create a website exposed to the world. In fact I created one as a demo and it was fun.
It's been 5 years since I started working in this industry, and I found this job comes along.
The technology evolves really fast to catch up with though.

In addition, I feel so happy if I can understand the foreign words in the movies without seeing the translation in Japanese.
