I have limited time and space to fully explain the Japan’s nuclear power policy, but I drew a easy-to-understand graph for you of the dependance of nuclear power at each regional electric power company. As you see in the graph, some Japanese power companies depend on nuclear power for more than 50% of their total generation, and the dependance at Chubu and Chugoku Electric companies are relatively low and their dependance on thermal power genration are higher compared with that of the rest of the companies. Since there is no nuclear power plant in Okinawa, its dependance on nuclear power shows zero in the graph.

We don't have enough time or letter to explain Japanese nuclear energy policy. Still, I made a graph about how much electricity the power companies in Japan depend on nuclear power. As you see it, you will easily understand that some companies in Japan has already depended on nuclear power for more than 50% of electricity. However, Chubu and Chugoku power companies' dependence are comparatively low and depend highly on thermal power generation. Okinawa doesn't have any nuclear plant and doesn't depend on nuclear power at all.

I cannot explain about Japanese nuclear energy policy in such a short time and short words but I made a graph of what amount electricity generation each electricity companies of Japanese districts rely on nuclear power. As you see it, some Japanese electricity company has already rely on nuclear power 50% or more. On the other hand, Chubu-district electricity and Chugoku-district electricity rely on it particulaly lightly and they rely on thermal power strongly. The nuclear power ratio of Okinawa is zero as there are not nuclear plant.
