First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to all the disaster victims and those families. I also sincerely pray for the earliest reconstruction of the areas.

Tohoku-Kanto earthquake happened. It was devastating.
The center of the disaster area was in North of Japan.
Kanto region where I live was a bit away from the north, and luckily I was able to avoid serious damages.

The summary of the disaster is already reported in the news.
However, it is little-known what the impact to the general citizens was.
I decided to report the situation myself.

I would like to tell you the real situation of earthquake disaster and lessons through my and my family's real experience.

First, my thoughts go out to everyone affected and the persons concerned.
I'm wishing for rehabilitation as early as possible.

Great Northeast Kanto Earthquake occurred.
It became a serious catastrophe.
The center is the Tohoku district in Japan.
It is separated from a little Kanto district in which I live, and it escaped serious damage.

The outline of disaster is previously reported by news etc.
However, it is seldom known whether what kind of the general citizen was influenced.
It thought that I would report and created.

I want to tell you about the situation and the lesson of the earthquake disaster through the true experience of my and my family.

First, I would like to give my best wishes for victims and related people of earthquake. I wish this situation will be better as soon as possible.

Tohoku and Kanto area's big earthquake happened. That was terrible disaster.
Central area was Tohoku area in Japan.
Kanto area where I live is little bit far from there so I did not suffer big damage.

The detail about the disaster and like that are all known by news or other thing.
However, what the general people suffer is not known very much.
I thought I should report it so made this.

I would like to tell the situation and knowledge from the disaster through my family and my actual experience.

I am on a business trip to Mishima (Shizuoka).
The hotel always becomes vacant, but is full only on this day.
I stay at the comics coffee shop. It was hard by a reclining sofa.

There is also a store run while saving electricity in a dining-out store.
Also the restaurant chain which supply of foods is closed by the ability not doing. The pachinko parlor which seems to be avaricious is also shortening business.

I was on the business trip in Mishima (Shizuoka prefecture).
The hotel usually has vacancies, but this day was fully occupied.
I spend the night at Manga cafe. It was hard to sleep on reclining chair.

Some restaurants were operating under the power saving mode.
There were some restaurants closed due to lack of food delivery.
Even greedy pinball parlors were closed early.

Hotel are usually available but this day, there are no more available room.
I stayed in Manga cafe. That was hard as I had to lie on the reclining sofa.

Some stores like restrant are opened but turn off some electricity.
Some restarant chain store are closed as they could not find food material.
Pachinko, look like greedy but, it is also opened short time than usual.

I thought at the time of the start indulgently. When though it is about 20km, I arrive if I walk for five hours. I began the jogging and….

Finally, Kinshi-cho. I'm quite tired compared with expectation. It was cold, so fatigue was felt very much for it.
I have to check the way in iPhone....
I think so, but a hand is numbed, and a mind to do isn't done.

I underestimated when I started. I thought it's probably about 20 km, but I should be able to arrive about 5 hours because I had started routine jogging.

Finally, I was in Nishiki-cho. I was far more exhausted than I expected. Part of the exhaustion came from the cold weather.
Even though I thought I had to check the route with iPhone, I didn't even want to try with my cold hands.

I thought it not so difficult when I started. I thought like "It is about 20km but I will arrive after 5hrs walk or so. As I've started jogging these days..

Somehow arrived at Kinshi-cho. That was much harder than I expected. It was so cold and that was one of the reason I got tired.
I have to check the way in my iPhone...
I thought like that but I could not do it smoothly as my hands went numb.

It's distance-like, about half of. But fatigue has come out suddenly by the coldness of Arakawa exceeding, a crowd and a traffic jam. Degree of fatigue reaches 90% already. I feel oneself who intended to walk have a grudge. That reminds me the women of the heel decrease. The people taking a rest in a park and a convenience store increase.

When crossing done Edogawa, it's Chiba-. When I thinks so, surprisingly, a person can't cross an immediate bridge on the freeway. A staff doesn't let me through. Degree of fatigue exceeds 100 % quickly.
"People become powerless before despair."
The meaning of the language understood a few.
It is empty to walk only in order to aim at about 4km bridge to along Edogawa.

It was about half way, distance wise.
But, my exhaustion become at peak because of cold over the Arakawa River and crowds of people. Sensation of fatigue already reached at 90% level. I regretted myself thinking about walking back home. As I noticed, there are few women in heels. More people started resting in the parks and convenience stores.

I thought that I would be in Chiba at last once I across the Edo River. However, the bridge in front of me was highway and people on the foot could not across. The officials would not let me through. Sensation of fatigue reached over 100% at once.
"People become helpless when they face to desperation."
I finally understood the meaning of the words a little.
It is meaningless to walk along Edo river side about 4 km only to find a bridge.

The way was about a half.
However, I felt sudden fatigue by cold and people jam. I got tired already 90%. I thought I had been fool that I had decided to walk. I noticed there are few ladies wearing high heels. Number of people who take rest in the park or convenience stores are increased.

Yeah I can arrive at Chiba pref. when I pass Edo-river. I thought but no man could pass the bridge as the bridge was highway only for car. Person in charge does not let me enter. My tired level reached 100%.
"Man become no power when he face despair."
I knew the mean of the word to some extent.
That was too pity to walk about 4km side of Edo-river just for going to the bridge.

At last I arrive at a bridge.
But it is longer than from Shinozaki here.
I am bitter about a river.

It arrives at last.
It was a long distance.
However, there are those who are walking still more.
It is serious!

I reached to the bridge at last.
However, it is still far from here to Shinozaki.
I hate the river.

Finally I arrived.
It was such as long way.
Still, there are so many people walking.
Too bad...

Finally, I reached the bridge.
But even here, it is too far from Shinosaki.
I felt mad with the river.

Finally, arrived.
That was so long way.
But there are still many people who keep walking.
This is terrible...
