香港政府観光局は10月1日付で、日本局長に堀和典（ほり・かずのり）氏が就任したことを発表した。同氏は今後、香港政府観光局の日本におけるマーケティング戦略の策定と実施に取り組んでいく。
堀氏は、前職ではオーストラリア政府観光局に 17 年間在籍。2005 年から同局日本局長として８年間在任。日本の観光マーケットを熟知する旅行のエキスパートで、旅行業界関係者と密接な関係をもっている。

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has announced that Mr. Kazunori Hori has assumed the post of Japan director. He will working in the Hong Kong Tourism Board on the development and implementation of marketing strategy targeting Japan.
