東京都が今年1月に提出した立候補ファイルによると、東京ビッグサイトはレスリング、フェンシング、テコンドーの会場として利用されるほか、14万3000平米の国際放送センターとメインプレスセンターとして使用される予定。そのうち延床面積4万4000平米は３層建てで増築する予定で、工費は144億円と計上されている。
