国際オリンピック委員会（IOC）の125次総会で、2020年に開催される第32回夏季夏季オリンピックと第16回パラリンピック開催都市の投票が行なわれ、東京が開催地に選ばれた。

Of the total floor space, 44,000 square meters are slated to be secured by adding a three-story building for which a construction cost of 14.4 billion yen is budgeted.
