Nagisaは明るく、元気で、少しドジな少年です。
思えば、Free!の物語は、彼が閉鎖したスイミングクラブに行こう！と言い出したり、水泳部を作ろう！と言い出した事がきっかけで、（物語が）動いている気がします。
彼の明るさと元気の良さは、人や物事を動かし、なおかつ笑顔にしてしまう事が多いです！
同じ学年で、Rinの妹であるGoとも話す機会が多く、彼女と口げんかをしている時は、とても微笑ましいです！
そんな彼は憧れていたHarukaやMakotoと再会し、とても喜びました。

何故Rinは変わってしまったのか？それを知るために、そしてまた再会するために彼は水泳部を創ることを決心します。
