Nagisaは明るく、元気で、少しドジな少年です。
思えば、Free!の物語は、彼が閉鎖したスイミングクラブに行こう！と言い出したり、水泳部を作ろう！と言い出した事がきっかけで、（物語が）動いている気がします。
彼の明るさと元気の良さは、人や物事を動かし、なおかつ笑顔にしてしまう事が多いです！
同じ学年で、Rinの妹であるGoとも話す機会が多く、彼女と口げんかをしている時は、とても微笑ましいです！
そんな彼は憧れていたHarukaやMakotoと再会し、とても喜びました。
Nagisa is a boy who is bright, good spirited, a bit of a blunder.
Come to think of it, in Free!, his suggestion of "Let's go to the closed swimming club!" and "Let's create a swimming club!" was the turning point which is what moves the story.
The good thing about his brightness and good spirit is that it moves the people or things, and there are many moments that will make you smile!
There are many times when he talks to Go, who is Rin's sister and a freshman like him, and when they are bickering, it just makes you smile!
So when he gets to meet up again with Haruka and Makoto who he looks up to, he is very delighted.
また昔のように水泳が出来ると喜んでいたのですが、同じように再会したRinに冷たい態度をとられ、とても落ち込みます。
何故Rinは変わってしまったのか？それを知るために、そしてまた再会するために彼は水泳部を創ることを決心します。
彼の魅力は「天真爛漫さと、物事に怯えない度胸を持っている」事です。
彼の活発さは、Haruka達だけでなく、私達にも元気をくれます！
彼のおっちょこちょいな面もとてもかわいいので、なんだか年下の弟を見ている気分になれる、素敵なキャラクターです！
He is also very happy to be able to swim like long ago, but he was given the cold shoulders from Rin whom he had just reunited with, which left him pretty down.
