Without doubt, part of the reason for Australia’s success in design crowdsourcing is its proximity (and affinity) with Asia, whose users helping drive growth in these marketplaces.
In summary, design crowdsourcing is blooming in Asia and Asia is, arguably, the leader in design crowdsourcing. This is one of the reasons late last year we launched DesignCrowd in Singapore, the Philippines and India, and why we’ll continue to invest in the region. It’s also why we’re now seeing Asian focussed crowdsourcing events like Crowdsourcing Week (to be held in Singapore in June this year). Online business in Asia is booming and the crowdsourcing model is flourishing, propelling the region to the status of a global leader in innovation and growth.
