櫂トシキ Kai Toshiki
櫂はクールで冷静な性格です。ヴァンガードファイトでは周りを圧倒させてしまうほど強い実力を持っています。
また櫂はアイチがヴァンガードファイターとして尊敬している人物です。
地区・全国大会ではチームQ4としてアイチ、カムイやミサキたちと出場しました。
最初はチーム戦であっても仲間という意識が櫂にはありませんでした。
しかし、物語が進むにつれて徐々に仲間意識が芽生えてきたのかなと思わせる櫂の言動は感慨深かったです。

Kai is a cool-headed guy. He has such an ability as to bear down those around him in vangard fight.
Also, Kai is a boy for whom Aichi feels respect as a vangard fighter.
Hewas in the regional and national contests as teamQ4 with Aich, Kamui and Misaki.
At first, Kai didn't have any sense of fellowship, being a group competition. But as the story goes on, his words and deeds made me feel that a feeling of fellowship started growing inside of him and it was quite overpowering.

Kai has a cool and calm personality. In Vanguard Fight, he has a strong efficiency that can overwhelm the surroundings.
Aichi looks up to Kai as a Vanguard Fighter.
He joined in the regional and national tournament as a member of Team Q4 with Aichi, Kamui, and Misaki.
Although it was a Team tournament, Kai had no sense of comradery towards the other members at first.
But, as the story progressed, he had uttered deep and touching words that made me think he gradually developed his sense of comradery with his teammates.

何故昔明るい性格だった櫂が、今のような性格に変わったのかが分かると思います。

You should see how Kai tries to persuade Aichi through a vanguard fight.

For me personally, Kai was really cool when Aichi was engulfed by the darkness of PSYquoria and his personality was changed, and Kai fought to bring him back to the way he used to be.
I'd definitely want you to see the scene where Kai tried to convince Aichi through the Vanguard Fight!
His interaction with Ren is a must-see as well.
You'll be able to see why Kai, who used to be cheerful back in the days, had become the character he is now.
