　島崎さんは大変気さくで明るい方である。また生まれ育った京都に思い入れがあり、琴という楽器を通じて日本文化の詰まった京都のすばらしさを世界中の人々に伝えたいとおっしゃっている。これまでにも、多くの外国人観光客の方にお琴の体験を提供してきた。

　彼女の実家は昔ながらの京町家であり、そこで琴体験や様々なイベントを開催できるよう最近改装が行われた。京都にお越しの際は、是非趣のある町家で日本の代表的な伝統楽器である琴を演奏してみませんか？

Ms. Shimazaki is a very open and sociable person. She has a strong connection with her hometown, Kyoto. She has said that she would like to convey how wonderful Kyoto is through playing an instrument full of Japanese culture, the Koto. She has already had a lot of foreign tourists experience playing the Koto with her.

Her home is in a very traditional area of Kyoto. There, she is currently renovating the house in order to hold Koto demo lessons. If you have the chance to come to Kyoto, you shouldn't miss playing the representative traditional Japanese instrument, the Koto, in elegant surroundings.
