島崎さんは大変気さくで明るい方である。また生まれ育った京都に思い入れがあり、琴という楽器を通じて日本文化の詰まった京都のすばらしさを世界中の人々に伝えたいとおっしゃっている。これまでにも、多くの外国人観光客の方にお琴の体験を提供してきた。
彼女の実家は昔ながらの京町家であり、そこで琴体験や様々なイベントを開催できるよう最近改装が行われた。京都にお越しの際は、是非趣のある町家で日本の代表的な伝統楽器である琴を演奏してみませんか？
Mrs. Shimazaki is a very friendly and cheerful person. She deeply in love with Kyoto where she grew up and would like to let people all over the world know how wonderful Kyoto is, through Koto, a Japanese instrument. She have also provided opportunities for foreign tourists to experience of playing Koto in the past.
Her parent's house is "Kyo-machiya", a traditional Japanese house in Kyoto style, therefore, she renovated there so that she can let the house open for those events like Koto experience. Why don't you try to play one of the most traditional instruments, Koto, in the tasteful traditional house on your visit to Kyoto?
