シャッターボタンとモードダイヤルの位置が入れ替わってると、もっと使い易いと感じます。

However, the Omakase iA (intelligent auto mode) is questionable (because I am disatisfied with its fixed content of the function). I think the term "Omakase" could be misleading to become the shortcomings of such limitation, right?

Just like LX3, an optical finder is required even as an option (I wish there was a way to determine the centre even if it is for 35mm equivalent...)

It would be easier to use if the position of the shutter button and the mode dial were replaced.

　私ももちろんですが嫁さんが使いやすいのが前提なので、

　おまかせiAや撮影モードなどは簡単で使い易いと思います。

　ただマニュアル機能がもう少し充実してれば撮影がもっと楽しかったかも…



・液晶

　一昔前のデジカメしか知らないので、画面が大きく綺麗だと感じました。



・ホールド感

　ズッシリ感は否めませんが、片手で持っても意外と安定してます。

- Functionality
The prerequisite is its user friendliness because not only me but my wife would use it, so I found Omakase iA (intelligent auto mode) and portrait mode are easy to use.
However, photo shooting would have been more fun if it was fully equipped with the manual function a slight more...

- LCD
I found the screen is wider and more beautiful since all I know is a previous generation's digi cam.

- Grip
I cannot deny its heavyness, but it is stable than I thought even when I hold it with one hand.

・総合評価

　広角＆高倍率ズーム、ハイビジョン動画、顔認識、追尾AF等々、

　大体何でもついてる万能機で、デザイン＆携帯性をクリアできれば

　お勧めだと思います。

Perhaps it is the virtue of the right side form that has completely gotten rid of its slimness.
But the issue I mentioned in the operability pops up when I hold it with one hand, though.

- General comments
This is a multi-functional device that comes with almost everything such as wide-angle, high magnification, high-vision moving picture, facial recognition, NMOS Image sensor, etc., and I would recommend it if its design & portability could meet your requirement.

湧いていたので購入しましたが、あまり魅力を感じなかったです。実用性ではTZ5と変わりは無いです。ガッカリ、、売却予定です。

I bought it because being popular, but I didn't find it so attractive. Not different from TZ5 for a practical use. What a disappointment... I am planning to sell it.

ただ、コンデジとしては25-300mmのズームを搭載して写真の幅が広がり

昼中の撮影は楽しめる１台だと思います。シャッター速度の制約があるので

ISO100で奇麗に夜景を撮るなどの使い方は出来ません。

(モード選択で15、30、60秒開放はありますが、あまり実用的ではないかも)



私自身、このカメラに期待しすぎていたことから辛口な評価になりましたが

スナップ写真などには適したカメラではないでしょうか。

Nontheless, you can still have fun to take photos during the daytime as a compact digi cam with 25-300mm zoom with wide-range. You cannot use it for shooting night scenes beautifully with ISO100 due to its shutter speed restriction. (15, 30, 60 seconds release are available for mode selection, but it may not be practical)

My comments turned out to be harsh because I had much expectation on this camera, but this is suitable for a snap pictures I guess.

やっぱり12倍ズームがあると便利ですね



室内や広角での撮影は　「LX3」　望遠や動画などは　「TZ7」と使い分けていきます。

I have additionally purchased this because LX3 telephono lens was insufficient.
12 x zoom is convenient after all.
For shooting indoor or in wide angle I will use "LX3", and "TZ7" for telephoto or movie.
