I had the opportunity to test the Sigma lens today and I found it to be sharp and free of any problems with the focusing, etc. The only issue now is the cosmetics which I feel do take away from the resale value of the lens (a good lens holds its value as you know). Would a $40USD reduction be acceptable to you? That equals 25% of original purchase plus 25% of the duty and taxes I paid? (which was based on the original purchase price)
Please let me know how you feel about this.

Hello,

I would like to ask for a full refund of this item. Not only did it not list the the power cable was not suitable for UK use, there was also a substantial customs charge of £56 to receive the item. This was a birthday gift and I am told that the motor blew up on the very first use.

This item is unsafe and should not be being sold in the UK. I am utterly furious.

It should be removed from Amazon immediately, and I will be taking this complaint direct to Amazon.
