My name is Daniel.
I was born and raised in Vietnam. I have an interest in Language and Technology. Besides English, I'm also taking a Japanese class to learn more about Japanese language and culture. Currently, I'm a Senior Translator with over 10 years of experience working as a Translator, Project Manager, and Team Leader at Conyac. Additionally, I have more than 10 years of experience in software development, with a strong technical knowledge.
I joined Conyac after reading an article on an IT news website. I can't recall the specific article, but it mentioned the Conyac startup project. I thought that Conyac would be the ideal place to improve my English, which is not my native language. I earned my first reward by translating a very short sentence from English to Vietnamese. That feeling was very exciting. I always keep an eye on Conyac to see if there are any available requests that need to be translated. Even though only the first 2 translations are rewarded, I translate as much as I can and learn from others' reviews.
After 10 years, starting as a Starter Translator, I am now a Senior Translator and Team Leader at Conyac. This place has become like a second family to me.
In the last 10 years, I have completed numerous translation projects in various fields, including Website Localization (Cloud computing services, websites, etc.), Mobile Game Localization, Emails, Business contracts, and minutes, among others.
