長谷川　直子 (angel5)

大学では英語を専攻。翻訳歴5年、英語→日本語, 日本語→英語の対応が可能です。得意分野は過去の職歴上、コレポンをしていたので、メール文書のやり取りの翻訳です。一般的な観光、教育、健康、科学、スポーツ、イベント紹介、商品説明など翻訳も致します。

卒業後の職歴はメガバンクで輸出入業務担当→人材（通訳翻訳）派遣会社マネージャー→大手船会社→大手電機メーカー総務→地方銀行で外為担当→企業内で社内文書および工作機械マニュアルの日英・英日翻訳のプルーフリーディング→幼稚園、小学校および高校にて英語講師。
その後、夫の仕事の関係で4年超オレゴンに住んでおりました。在米中は一般文書の翻訳を頼まれたり、英語の質問・相談を受けつけたりしたこともあります。帰国後は地元の英会話スクールに勤務。

I majored in English when I was a university student.

I had various work experience after graduating from the university:

1. I worked in the import/export department of a major bank.
2. I worked as a project manager of a temporary employment agency dispatching translators and biingual office workers.
3. I worked for a major shipping company.
4. I worked in a general affairs section of SONY.
5. I worked in the foreign exchange section of a regional bank.
6. I taught English to young kids, elementary school students and high school students.

I lived in the U.S. due to my husband's international assignment for 4+ years. Over there, I worked as a freelancer translating general documents from English to Japanese and vice versa. I also helped those who were having problems with their English writing. After returning to Japan, I resumed teaching English.
