昨日の台風は大した被害にならず良かったですね。
しかしわたしの明石に住んでいる友達は、夜中から朝方まで停電でエアコンが動かず寝苦しかったそうです。今日も急に雨が降って来ましたね。わたしは仕事の出先でこの雨でびしょ濡れになりました。暑いしちょうど良かったよ。

It was good that the typhoon yesterday did not cause much trouble.
However, my friend lives in Akashi had a night uneasy to sleep since the power got cut down and the a/c did not work from midnight till the morning. It also started raining all of the sudden today, right? I got soaking wet in the rain while I was out of the office. It was perfect because of the heat.
