ご連絡が遅くなり申し訳ありません。私は昨日（日本時間の昨晩、今からおよそ12時間前）、あなたの荷物の状況について発送した郵便局へ問い合わせました。結果は番号エラーで原因を確認しているとのことでした。
まだ正式な回答は得られていませんが、おそらく発送郵便局のミスで、本来荷物は順調に運ばれているのに番号の反映が遅れているか、発送局で滞留してしまっているかの、どちらかだと考えられます。本日中には一度状況の確認ができる予定ですので、申し訳ありませんが再度連絡しますまでお待ち頂けますか？

I apologize for my slow reply. Yesterday (last night in Japan, which is about twelve hours ago) I contacted the post office regarding the package I shipped to you. They seem to have a problem in their system, and they are still investigating it. I have not heard anything from them yet, but I am assuming that the package was shipped properly and left the post office, but the system is not recognizing the tracking number assigned to it. Or the package may possibly be still at the post office for some reason. They are supposed to contact me regarding this today, so as soon as I hear from them I will contact you immediately. Thank you.
