主流になっているものは、写真を撮影し、その画像をアプリに読み込んでデータ化するものですが、このアプリでは端末をかざしてカメラの焦点が合った文字をその場で翻訳してくれるため、ユーザーの手間が大きく省略されています。
ユーザー目線で技術を追求するこのアプリが製品として登場に期待です！

謙虚に私の評価をとって下さり感謝しています。日本語から英語に訳すのは、大変です。やはり英語圏で生活するか、英語に囲まれた生活をしなければ、英語での表現を習得するのは大変なことだと思います。これは、日本ではあまり教えられていないのですが、良かったら試して下さい。英語の文(新聞、小説、ジャーナル、雑誌など)をそのままノートに書き写すか、パソコンでタイプします。出来る時に３０分くらいやってみる事です。やはり継続しなければいけないのですが、英語で文を書く人の表現をものに出来ます。私はアメリカの大学で、このような学習法を学びました。おせっかいかと思いましたが、この様な評価をした後で、何も返事をしないのも良くないと思って、このメッセージを送らせて頂きました。
