Well, actually, the writer suspects if the movement has been overhauld more than once, though.
Even in this case, do you say like you said? You never say as I said?
Yes, I understand what you mean and the nuance of the original sentence.
In this case however, I will refrain from using a literal translation.
This is because the expected answer to the question, yes or no, is less important than whether the movement has ever been overhauled at all. It is also more natural (in English) this way.
This is the same for the correction on tense (are posting vs. have posted) and singular/plural (part vs parts).
In other words, the original translation is not wrong but some corrections were required to make it more correct.
By the way, "come through overhauls" is grammatically incorrect.
It should be "gone through multiple overhauls" or "been overhauled multiple times" (more formal).

そういえば、日本語の文章に「納期」を使わなかったから、マニアックな言葉遣いは避けたほうがよかったかもしれません。
なんの！、リードタイムはもう普通の日本語になっています。会社に行っている人はしょっちゅう耳にしているでしょう。
そこはよく分かりませんが、自分の取引先の日系会社の方々の間は「納期」しか通じないみたいので。。。「リードタイム」と言いましたら、その場で止まってしまって意味を聞かれた経験は何回もありました。
また、英語圏では購買などに関わってる人間以外は殆ど「leadtime」を使わないと感じられます。
あくまでも自分の経験です。
へ～、そうですか！それは意外でした。昔、製造業に関係していたときは、みんなよく使っていました。製造には使い勝手のいい言葉です。
例の取引先は設計会社で製造は委託してるからでしょうかな。
