近年バイオマスは多くの注目を集め、その資源化を目指す研究開発が世界中で盛んに行われている。その主な目的は、バイオ燃料や化成品の原料を生産し、石油の代替として利用することにある。こうした潮流の中、我々はさらなる有効利用法として、バイオマスから電気を生み出すための研究開発を行っている。そのプロセスは、バイオマスをグルコースに変換後、そのグルコースを燃料として発電する工程からなる。

Recently biomass has attracted a lot of attention and is studied and developed actively all over the world for recycling it. The main purpose is to produce the materials of biofuel and chemical products and use them as a substitute of oil. In this background, we are doing research and development to generate electricity from biomass as more efficient use of biomass. The process of it is to transform biomass to glucose and use the glucose as a fuel to generate electricity.
