Thank you again for your corrections. However, I believe のびる in this case does mean to stretch or relax, as illustrated by the picture of the cats it refers to. Also, I realise that インコ translates directly to 'parrot', but I thought 'budgerigar' would be more suitable in this case as the picture is of two budgerigars and I never call them parrots (maybe it's just me, but I imagine parrots to be bigger birds for some reason) so I don't think it's necessarily a wrong choice.. But thanks for your suggestions. :)
