今、NECの山田さんと私のオフィスでお話をしました。
・これまでペンディングになっていたSAPの組織の見直しが、今回実行されることは評価したい。特に、日本の体制がきちんと整備されることを、強く期待している。
・SAPのERPは、ようやく日本の会計基準に適合するように修正され、NECにおいて次第にその機能を発揮している。このことは、大変有難く思っている。
・鈴木さんがNECに導入したSAPのERPが、今後ともNECグループにおいてより広範囲に利用されていくよう頑張りたいと考えている。
I just talked with Mr. Yamada of NEC in my office.
- It is good that SAP organization review which had been pending will be conducted this time. Especially, I really hope system in Japan will be organized properly.
- EPR of SAP was finally corrected to comply with accounting standard in Japan, and it is gradually functioning at NEC.
- I hope to work on EPR of SAP installed at NEC by Mr. Suzuki to be widely used among NEC group in the future.
・NECでは、現在、ERPの世界展開を推進するため、2つの課題に取り組んでいる。
１つは、NEC EMEAをパイロット・ケースにして、海外のグループ企業におけるERPの利用拡大の可能性を検討している。
２つ目は、ERPで生成された財務データやリスク情報の会計システムへの接続、及び、経営情報への効率的展開の可能性の検討である。
・クラウドサービスであることは十分に理解しているので、こうした課題解決に向けてのコストとベネフィットを踏まえ、新体制でのSAPと良く相談していきたい。
・Currently NEC is tackling two issues to facilitate global implementation of ERP.
One is assessment of possibility for wider use of ERP among the group company overseas making NEC EMEA as a pilot case.
Second one is linking financial data generated by ERP or risk information with accounting system and its assessment of possibility for their efficient application to management information .
・We understand that they are part of cloud service so we would like to discuss well with SAP that is under the new organization to solve these issues considering the their cost and benefit.
・新しい体制では、SAPのメンバーも変わることでしょう。しかし、これまでに築いてきたNECとSAPの良好な関係を維持していくために、鈴木さんにはこれまで以上にその役割を果たしてもらいたいと期待している。
山田さんのコメントは以上の通りです。
NECサイドのキーマンであるNECの山田さんには、私からの説明により、今回のSAPの組織変更についての事前の理解は十分になされたものと思います。恐らく、彼らはTomさんから受け取るe-mailを前向きに捉えることと思います。
- Under the new framework, members of SPA will also change. However, to maintain the good relation between NEC and SAP I am expecting Mr. Suzuki to play his important role more than ever.
Mr. Yamada's comments are as above.
By my prior explanation, I think Mr. Yamada, NEC's key man, has understood this SAP's change of organization well. They would probably accept the e-mail from Mr. Tom positively.
