このミュージックビデオを制作するに当たり課題となったのは、『いかにしてリスナーとのつながりを映像で表現するか？』ということだったそう。そこでヒントとなったのがテレビ電話。どんなに遠く離れていても、テレビ電話を通すと、まるで近くに相手がいるかのように感じさせてくれる。その距離の近さ・つながりをMVで表現できないか。
What became a task in producing this music video was, they say, "how to express the connection with the listeners in the picture?" And then the TV phone inspired them. It let you feel as if your partner were located so near how far apart is he/she. Could they express such closeness or connection in the distance in MV?
そこから始まった今回のプロジェクトでは、敢えてスマートフォンの縦長のサイズにこだわり、倖田來未が様々な場面からスマフォをかざし歌い続ける印象的な映像に仕上がっています。現代のコミュニケーションツールに必須となっている“スマートフォン”を活用し、目には見えない人と人とのつながりを巧みに表現した「On And On」の公開もお楽しみに！
