This camera's focusing hood is made of very hard metal. If someone holds it with a hand and drops it to the ground, it's impossible for it to be dented and deformed that badly. Also, if you assume that someone dropped it, it doesn't make sense that even though the hood made of hard metal is badly dented, the other more fragile parts (glass focusing screen, 2 lenses) are not damaged at all.

The focusing food of this camera is made of the very rigid metal. It is impossible that the said food was dented if somebody held it up and dropped to ground. In addition, it cannot understand why there was no damage to the other fragile parts (two lenses made of the glass) even if there were the dent in the rigid food.
