People go on the 88 temple pilgrimage around the island of Shikoku for a myriad of reasons—some looking for forgiveness, some to honor a commitment to a deceased family member, some merely looking to experience the beauty of Shikoku. I came to this centuries old Buddhist pilgrimage hoping to gain a foothold into my past, and insight into my future. Equipped with only a backpack, guidebook and a sense of adventure, I calmly took my first step into what turned out to be a life-changing experience.

Pilgrimage is a fundamental part of many world religions; from the Hajj in Islam and the Kumbh Mela in Hinduism to the pilgrimages to Santiago and Rome in Christianity.

Oamenii merg în pelerinajul celor 88 de temple din Insula Shikoku dintr-o mulțime de motive: unii pentru iertare, alții pentru a onora un angajament făcut unui membru decedat al familiei, iar alții doar pentru a trăi pe viu frumusețea insulei Shikoku. Am venit în acest pelerinaj budist vechi de secole sperând să îmi confirm trecutul și să îmi înțeleg viitorul. Având cu mine doar rucsacul, un ghid și spiritul aventurii, am pășit cu calm în ceea ce s-a dovedit a fi o experiență ce mi-a schimbat viața.

Pelerinajul este o parte fundamentală a multor religii din lume; de la Haji în religia islamică și Kumbh Mela în hinduism, la pelerinajele către Santiago și Roma în creștinătate.

the phone was new when I sent it. It was never used so it can't be broken. It has been 6 days since you said everything is fine how do I know you did not break it or replaced with another one? The phone should still have manufacturer warranty on it, please clear this up with Samsung.
