Kluje has a simple 3-step process to realizing one’s dream home:

1. Homeowners post their home improvement jobs on the website for free.

2. Quality contractors, that have been vetted by Kluje with the relevant authorities (ACRA, BCA, Case Trust etc.), will then get to view these jobs – where up to three of them can bid on any one project. Contractors need to pay a basic monthly membership fee of $19.99, together with a lead cost (starting from $1), which is determined by the size of the home-owner’s budget, when they bid for projects.

3. The home-owner will then select the best contractor. Besides the price, home-owners can look through their portfolios on their profile pages to evaluate the best firm for the job. Contractors’ profiles will contain their qualifications, photos of previous work, and ratings (in terms of value, reliability and quality) given to them by previous Kluje users.

By rating contractors, Kluje aims to create an industry standard where the larger community of home-owners can rely on. With over 9,000 registered and an estimated 4,000 unregistered contractors, Kluje will filter out the quality contractors, allowing them to build their online reputation and win even more work.

Artists can do more than engineers to push innovation in tech

Some actors fully immerse themselves in their roles. They become their character for the duration of the shooting by adopting their accents, mannerisms, and personalities. Very rarely do they stay in character beyond the wrap party.

And then there’s Ashton Kutcher. After playing Steve Jobs in the biopic of the late Apple founder, the actor was made a product engineer by Chinese technology company Lenovo. Many, including Quartz, dismissed the appointment as little more than a public-relations stunt and cast doubt on his technical capabilities.

They shouldn’t.

The comma separated list (CSL) is a data format originally known as comma-separated values (CSV) in the oldest days of simple computers.

True Temper is saying the Japan market shaft says DGISLJ200 but it is the same exact set as the ones sold in the US just a different silk screen that’s all.

HE said they mix the J serial numbers with the US all the time and that they are random so some sets have a few J serials in the shipment. Regardless, same shaft.

Daojia is a food delivery service that targets at urban medium- and high-income families. Customers can place orders on the official website, mobile terminals or call center and Daojia will deliver the foods to their homes. Daojia received Series C financing from JD.com and Morningside Ventures this September. Investors for previous rounds are Morningside Ventures, Northern Light Venture Capital, and Zero2IPO Venture.

Founded in 2012, 168guanli is a decoration service provider. The company’s product portfolio includes Zhaishfu, Enterprise Decoration Helper, Designhui, and Zhuangguanjia. The company secured millions of angel investment from iStart.

Gewara started as an online movie ticket seller when founded in 2008. Now, it aims to transform to an Internet platform which integrates urban entertainment and consumption information. The company announced $20 million of Series C financing led by CDH Investments. Gewara previously received 2 million yuan of Series A financing from Shanda Capital and tens of million yuan in Series B financing from CDH Investments and Shanda Capital.

Etaoshi is an online food ordering and delivery platform, offering one-stop catering services of restaurant reservation, ordering, payment, and delivery. Etaoshi is the partner of Taobao Diandian, Alibaba’s Dianping-like service. The company has secured $6 million of Series A financing this July.
