Freshdesk buys social recommendation app Frilp to improve customer service

Cloud service desk software provider Freshdesk is announcing today that it has acquired Frilp, a small startup with an app that lets users seek and receive expert help from friends.

All 19 employees of Frilp — which stands for “free help” — have joined Freshdesk’s development center in Chennai. The beta Frilp app for Android will shut down soon. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

本日、クラウドサービスデスクソフトウェアを提供しているFreshdeskは、Frilp を買収したことを発表している。Frilpは、ユーザが友人間で専門的な助けを求めて受けることができるアプリを持つ、小規模新興企業である。

Frilp（「Free help」を意味する）の従業員全19名は、すでにチェンナイにあるFreshdeskの開発センターで働いている。Android用のベータ版Frilpアプリは、間もなく終了することになる。契約条件は公表されなかった。
