By reading the PayScale data methodology you can learn how their company operates to manage and organize user content. People will submit their salaries and location, along with extra metadata such as age and gender. These statistics are kept anonymous and will be put together for calculating an average median.

These alternate sources consist of job offers and Coroflot design statistics which are also submitted by freelancers and paid employees. I am very happy with the results and the number of estimates we could obtain.

No statistics can be guaranteed 100% accurate, especially monetary stats because of currency devaluation/inflation, but this guide is a deeply reliable source for global salary rates looking into 2013.

Yes, it is possible to display the "low price + delivery" in the same condition that you are selling it for.

It is simple, on the "inventory > manage inventory" page, you will find just above the inventory table on the top right side the button: "low Price Settings - New". Click on it and in the drop-down window, you have the option to choose "Show low price for: Listings in the same condition".

Therefore if you sell all your products new, the low price will show only for new products.

Australian recruitment marketplace startup RecruitLoop has just raised a US$500,000 seed round to fuel its expansion plans in the US.

Founded back in 2011, RecruitLoop is a Sydney-based startup which provides a simpler way to use recruiters to fill job vacancies. The platform claims to offer recruitment services at 10 percent of the traditional cost, by using a series of tools and processes to commoditize the hiring process. This includes an affordable fee-based model where services are charged by the hour, allowing the ability to pay for what you need, and also provide feedback on recruiters and video-screening candidates.

WeChat is Now the 5th Most Used Smartphone App In The World

The market research crew at GlobalWebIndex has compiled a list of the 10 most used smartphone apps in the world in Q2 2013.

Among the list of usual suspects – Google Maps first with 54 percent usage; Facebook’s app second with 44 percent – is one interesting non-western app. In fifth place you’ll see WeChat, the China-made messaging app that has nearly 400 million registered users and global ambitions. Though most of WeChat’s users are in China (about 70 million are overseas), the app apparently has such an engaged user-base that it was used by 27 percent of all smartphone owners in Q2. That puts it above Twitter and Skype in this survey.
