In 2013, I graduated from Temple University with a major in Communications and a minor in Japanese. During my studies, I won several awards for my English language skills and took advanced English courses to further improve my technical writing ability. I began working part time as a translator and instructor during my time as a student and continued this full-time after graduation. I have since obtained a Certificate of Specialization in Japanese and have studied linguistics extensively by attending many seminars, workshops, and conferences regarding various technical aspects of translation and interpretation. Using my knowledge of the Japanese language and advanced English writing ability, I have worked on many projects, both individually and as a part of a team, specializing in technical, medical, and international affair related content. In continuing my career as a linguist, I aim to obtain a position in which I can continue to use my skills to make a positive contribution to the company.
