社会全体の効率を考えると、分業化は全体のパフォーマンスが上がるので必要だとは思うけど、本来人間が持っていた総合性や多義性など、何かが抜け落ちる気がするんですよね。自分の専門ではないものであっても、やったことがないとその技能に対するありがたさや難しさがわからないような気がするし。
分業化の結果、今の世の中は物を「つくる人」と「使う人」の距離が、極端に広がって「分断」されてしまいました。
When you look at society as a whole, it is obvious that specialization (or division of labor) leads to a increase in efficiency. However, the more I think about it, the more I feel certain innate capabilities of humans, such as our ability to synthesize or our ability to deal with complexity, are being ignored, or all together forgotten.
Because of specialization, today we live in a world where the distance between "producers" and "users" have widened so much that they have become completely decoupled.
