1枚目の写真はセラミックのカバーが付いていて標準の仕様です。（端子渡しの仕様）
カバーの目的は端子の保護、及び絶縁のための部品です。
2枚目はアイロンプラグの端子のため、セラミックのカバーが付いていません。

接続を金属製にしたいとはどのようなことでしょうか？
セラミックのカバーを外すと接続部の金属製のネジ部が出てきます。
2枚目のようにアイロンプラグにしたいということでしたら、電圧が対応していないため出来ません。
（アイロンプラグは250V 20Aまで）

The first photo shows an ordinal usage with the ceramic cover. (used for the joint terminal)
The purpose of the cover is protecting the terminal and for an electronic insulation.
The product in the second photo does not have a ceramic cover because of the iron plug terminal.

How would you mean by converting the joint to metal?
When you remove the cover, the metal screw of the joint will be appearing.
If you wish to convert to the iron plug like the one in the second photo, it would be impossible due to the issues of a voltage. (Iron plug should not be exceeded 250 V 20 A.)
