エチルエステルに関する日本国内の規制は、魚油をエチルエステル化して97％まで精製した医薬品のみが薬機法上で規制されています。
日本国でも医薬品以外の食品用途だと特に規制はありません。
EPA医薬品の使用は妊婦や授乳婦は控えるように注意されているので、私たちはその点を注意してユーザーに提案しています。

Regarding to the regulations in Japan among ethyl ester, only when making the fish oil into ethyl ester and purified up to 97%, aimed for medical use would be ruled by Medical laws.
Other than medical products, such as for eating, there are no special regulations in Japan.
Pregnant and lactating women are warned to use EPA medical products; thus, we especially remind the users about it.
