週末はいつも通り家でゆっくり過ごしていました。
本当は出かけようと思いましたが今日は台風の影響で大雨が降るとのことでしたので家で英語の勉強していました。

As I was not able to dry my clothes after washing them, I went to the laundromat while it was raining.

I hate rainy days, but I am also fed up with sunny days with the temperature of around 40 degrees.
