奥入瀬渓流沿いには、十和田八幡平国立公園内にある奥入瀬渓流の傍に唯一建つホテル「星野リゾート　奥入瀬渓流ホテル」があります。

このホテルの「ラウンジ 森の神話」の真ん中には、20世紀後半に活躍した世界的に有名な日本の芸術家、岡本太郎氏によって作られた巨大な暖炉があります。煙突部分には、奥入瀬の自然をモチーフに、優雅に流れる渓流と、鳥や人間、森の妖精が踊る姿が描かれていて、神秘的な雰囲気を醸し出しています。

Along Oirase Gorge lies the only hotel Hoshino Resort Oirase Gorge Hotel beside the gorge which is located within Towada-Hachimantai National Park.

This hotel has a lounge named "Lounge Mori no Shinwa" which features the huge fireplace by famous Japanese artist Okamoto Taro who was active during the later half of the 20th century. The chimney which contains the motifs of Oirase's nature such as the stream, birds, people and dancing spirits, gives off a mystic vibe.
