English

As these kinds of books are usually initially read to children from a parent however, I would exercise caution. In some secondary languages the phonics that are present in the English language do not necessarily translate so well when exported to other languages. When considering Japanese learners especially there are some phonics that prove to be rather difficult.

こういう類の本はたいてい最初に親が子供に読み聞かせるのだが、ここで注意を促す。二次的な言語の中には英語でも存在するフォニックスを持つものがあり、他の言語へ輸出する際にさほど上手に訳せていなくてもかまわないものもある。日本の学習者を考慮する際、特にフォニックスの中にはむしろ難しいものもいくつかある。
