On the small end, I would enjoy more museums, 70mm film theatres, and more small services like affordable maids and other things that give me more time in life. Japan is lacking in multiculturalism, gender equality, and keeping up with the latest and most progressive ideas in everything from ethics/morals to software development, alternative working styles, and norms of living. Before I visited Japan, it felt like it was a country "of the future" but after my time here, it looks like a country "of the past." That is very sad.

Japans business environment is horrible, and needs to change. More casual western style drinking establishments (and cheaper beer prices) would be nice too

細かい点をいうと、私は人生を豊かにしてくれる美術館や、７０ミリ映画館、お手頃なメイドサービスといったものを楽しみたいです。日本は多文化性や性の平等、倫理／モラルからソフトウェア開発、仕事のスタイルの転換や生き方に至るまでの最先端で最も核心的な流行から後れを取っています。日本を訪れる前、日本は「未来」の国だと思っていましたが、実際に住んでみると「過去」の国のようです。非常に残念です。
